The amazing thing is the US economy is sinking. We were sold out
long ago, manufacturing, science, farming - mostly not in the US
anymore.  Any state that fully legalizes hemp/pot and uses it
as it's been used before 1900 or so, would become wealthy.

A prime ingredient in perpetuating dysfunctional Ganjawars is to avoid the truth and reality at all costs. Lies and Censorship of the media and schoolbooks has done well since 1937. If truth dares to poke its nose into carefully orchestrated legislated manipulations. Call out the gutter science. Especially before an election. I remember once they spewed 3% of the smokers would become schizophrenic. Thats 3% of 150 million daily world tokers. That's 4,500,000 walking around with schizophrenia, someone should tell them. Probably with the 60 million x US tokers walking around not knowing they were addicted. Or Gatewaying our ancestors into what hadn't been invented. Or more potent pot today vs drug czar smoking schwag in the 70's. Panama Red,  Acapulco Gold, Vietnam Tea, Sinsemilia, etc. wasn't on his menu.

Supposed Marijuana And Schizophrenia Link “Overstated”

Authors wrote: “We continue to take the view that the evidence that cannabis use causes schizophrenia is neither very new, nor by normal criteria, particularly compelling. … For example, our recent modeling suggests that we would need to prevent between 3000 and 5000 cases of heavy cannabis use among young men and women to prevent one case of schizophrenia, and that four or five times more young people would need to avoid light cannabis use to prevent a single schizophrenia case. … We conclude that the strongest evidence of a possible causal relation between cannabis use and schizophrenia emerged more than 20 years ago and that the strength of more recent evidence may have been overstated.”

X drug thug Barthwell works for Bayer/Satevex pushing their under the tongue raw cannabis extract spray. The US government is already putting patents on individual cannabinoids. The latest CA research puts it over the top and even the government IND program is now claiming medicinal benefits.

Meaning in D.E.A.th land...
I think they'll try to Re-scheduling cannabis to a #2 class. This will require doctors to use a triplicate, personal contact with the Pharmacy. It will also keep Ganja home grown banned. Hemp outlawed and Buyers clubs and states initiatives irrelevant and remain illegal under the Feds and UN. Once again the solution is removing the bogus cannabis scheduling... period. This will free Apothecaries to dispense RxGanja and free Hemp for the general well being of the country.

Tear down the damn curtain and get some hemp for the Ganjawar broker politicians and their tin soldiers.

Al Capone and Watergate were red herrings to divert the countries attention from the Fascist acts of eliminating competition. Booze/Ethanol or Ganja//Hemp. While GOP and DNC continue to bicker over nonsense. Farmers still can't grow. Drugs and Ganja are Gateways to prison profits and cop-shops bloated budgets.

How lowering RxGanja to schedule#2 will permit Barthwell and Bayer free reign to hawk their sublingual RxGanja spray. Without those nasty peons growing it and selling it in Apothacaries. Uh huh, and most crazy people ate a lot of french fries too...

Logic flaw, people who don't have a perfect life or mind are more likely
to drink, smoke, and take more pills, dont need a study for that.
The key word they use is non-affective psychosis - that means
something that does not interfere with their life at all.

Long-time cannabis use linked to psychosis: study

(AFP) – 18 hours ago

WASHINGTON — The longer people use cannabis or marijuana, the more likely they are to experience hallucinations or delusions or to suffer psychosis, according to a study released Saturday.

The study found that people who first used cannabis when they were aged 15 or younger were twice as likely to develop a "non-affective psychosis" -- which can include schizophrenia -- than those who had never used the drug.

The research led by John McGrath from the University of Queensland in Australia was based on a survey of 3,801 people with an average age of 20.1 years, the US-based Archives of General Psychiatry reported.

"Among all the participants, a longer duration since the first time they used cannabis was associated with multiple psychosis-related outcomes," the study said.

Of the group, 17.7 percent reported using cannabis for three or fewer years, 16.2 percent for four to five years and 14.3 percent for six or more years.

Sixty-five were diagnosed with "non-affective psychosis", such as schizophrenia, and 233 had at least one hallucination, the study said.

"Individuals who had experienced hallucinations early in life were more likely to have used cannabis longer and to use it more frequently," it said.

But the relationship between psychosis and cannabis use was complex, it said.

People who were vulnerable to psychosis, in other words had isolated psychotic symptoms, "were more likely to commence cannabis use, which could then subsequently contribute to an increased risk of conversion to a non-affective psychotic disorder," the research said.

The article said previous studies had also identified an association between cannabis use and psychosis but there were concerns that research had not adequately accounted for confounding variables.
