Good News!

You Know .....one million new jobs could be created overnight if the Federal government stop opposing Marijuana legalization. But NO: "President Obama is not in favor of the legalization of Marijuana" is the government's ONLY reply.  Obama is AGAINST Jobs: 1,000 people have lost their jobs in San Diego county in 3 months because the DEA has SHUT Every Dispensary in town!

I hope Ron Paul is the Republican candidate: I'd vote for HIM over Obama!

The MA Secretary of State just certified a citizen initiative petition that allows patients suffering from debilitating illness to possess 60 days worth of medical marijuana with their doctor’s approval.¹ Non-profit care centers will be permitted to grow medical marijuana for patients as well.
By law, the initiative now goes straight to the state legislature, where it could be quickly approved. It's time that Massachusetts lawmakers listen to voters on this issue and approve medical marijuana for patients in the state.

The good news is that the initiative process presents a few opportunities for Massachusetts to legalize medical marijuana.
Now that MA Secretary of State William Galvin has certified the initiative, it will be sent directly to the state legislature. If the state legislature refuses to approve the initiative, voters in the state will get the final word: supporters would only have to gather roughly 11,000 additional signatures to have the initiative placed on the 2012 ballot.
But we believe with enough pressure, the legislature will do the right thing and approve this initiative. This is the year Massachussetts will finally legalize medical marijuana to help those suffering to get access to the medicine they need.

Depending on what happens, we’ll continue to ramp up our efforts on the MA state legislature. If they deny it and the measure goes to the 2012 ballot, we’ll be there to support its passage, too.
